Are '76 and '77 carbs fully interchangeable

Due to some heavy handed wrenching and 25 year old gas in my '76 I've broken off a support for the float on #3 carb. I see a #3 on EBay but for a '77. Can anyone confirm the carb bodies between '76 and '77 are fully interchangeable?

For the most part they ate the same ..I'd say buy it ..you could actually compare parts in thinking the needle and main jet are a bit different and double switched ..if carb look good I think I'd use it parts it came with

I'd give the Randakk kit a try first. Be methodical and careful, should work fine. After, always support the posts when (lightly) tapping out the pins.

I've got one additional float stuck on a carb. I plan on cutting it in half so I can get purchase with some needle nose. Maybe that'll save another cracked mount.
