Are Gates radiator hoses for GLs in one piece?

I bought 2 sets unseen on ebay, and when they got here they did not look like I expected. There were 2 hoses not 4 and they didn't look like they would fit. Today I got the radiator out while excavating my way to the timing belts and could see the hoses more clearly. I realize they can probably fit if I cut them into 2 pieces in the right place. Is this the way Gates hoses normally come for the 1100?

yes it cuts in a way to make both hoses i am sure i never bought one yet though

That's the way it works. A tiny bit of flexing is required for installation, but they fit fine.
