Do the original bars for an '82 standard have these screw things on the ends? I assume they are for bar end weights. Also these bars have about an 8" rise.

Just wondering because the hand flare-outs on my Plexifairing WS are too low to keep wind off my hands and it is the right WS for my bike.

Thanks
Brian

Not certain those are stock bars but mine have weights / plugs in them too. Maybe the shield just needs mounted lower?

Thanks guys. They probably are OE. The knurled parts line up with the bar clamps and the holes for locating the switch assemblies are there and in the right places so I'm going to assume they are original.

The WS thing is no big deal except for cold weather riding.

Maybe I should get some bar end weights...although vibration is not an issue with a GW.

Thanks again
Brian
