In my recent thread (Oil Change...) I used Sea Foam to clean the engine before dumping the old oil, and found that a lot of you are using automatic transmition fluid as a regular additive to both fuel and oil. I'm excited to start trying this and to start a log of ratio:results for both applications...
When I set out to look into this, I find that for an inexperienced user, there is an overwhelming wealth of options for ATF. Does anyone have a preference, or a brand/type that they swear by, or at least prefer?

Great choice, :good: on all 3 of my 1200's, & fuel filter for my 1500 as well, his stuff that's on my bikes is some of the nicest i've ever seen!

None that I know, alway hear it does not matter..just wouldn't go buying expensive stuff, I get mine at estate sales for 50 cents or a buck a bottle.

Cheap! I haven't found any one brand better than the next, so spend as little as possible.

I need to look at estate sales :head bang:

1/5th capacity in the oil is what I've been using. 1 qt in the 5 qt system of my car. About 4 ounces in each of my wings.
