We made it to NM & back otay....sure wuz cold up yonder...and windy. Made Albuquerque "home base", and made a few day trips out frum there. BTW.....do NOT go to Santa Fe expecting to park anywhere without a jar full o change. EVERYTHING has parking meters, and they only take change, or credit cards. We dint have any change and I certainly weren't gunna put my CC into a friggin parkin meter. We drove around a while up there(@12,000 ft above SL) for a while and headed back to home base, stopping at a few Indian pueblo tourists traps along the way.
Actually spent all of the time up thar antiquin.....basically the same thing we do HERE, just 700 miles farther down the road.
Headed back home and stopped in my hometown to visit my folks at the cemetery, stayed the night there, and back to Dallas we came.
Enjoyed being in the mountains....just gorgeous country up thar.

Anyway...I also brought back...drumroll, please... a new(to me) 1800 'Wing! :yahoo: :moped:
I been teasing the Mods for a couple of days about it, but I finally got some pics....HERE they are!!

:whistling:

Welcome home, Joel, and glad you had a good time! I'll probably be goin' to Cloudcroft in 3 months or so to see my sister. Haven't been to Santa Fe in a long time, and from what you're sayin' there's no reason to go now.

You had me for a bit with the new Wing! I can't imagine you giving up the turd...

I think riding the new 1800 is gunna make your butt look fat!! :smilie_happy:

:nea: Actually...Dan's guess was not really correct....he suggested what I got was a die-cast bike....this one is all plastic.... :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: Got a good deal on it for $8....the box packaging said it was a 1500....so I got a free upgrade. It's a 1/10th scale. :hihihi:
We had an otay time, but I really wanted to do a little more sightseeing and stuff, but.....ya'll know, If Mama ain't happy......
She bought a bunch of turquoise stuff, and a few dolls, so it was good fer her too.... :good:
