Back rest for 1983 goldwing

Anyone know where I can get new or used backrest for my trunk? The metal on mine is all rusted out. Still usable but barely. Regal Brown leather

Hi Wolf, Welcome to the forum. They come up from time to time but usually have the trunk attached, Keep searching here and that auction site and one will surely come around at the right price, Sometimes you have to buy the whole trunk then pull your part and re sell the rest.

Thanks for the infor-I have seen some trunks on ebay or somewhere but thought i'd wait to see if i could just get the back rest. I still have to try taking it to a upholster and see if they could fix it. I'm still working on the bike anyway so no hurry. Thanks again-

I seem to recall seeing just a trunk top with a back rest on Searchtempest in either the Baltimore or DC area recently... That isn't too far from the Eastern Shore so no postage would help keep the cost down for you.
