i ordered one for the 1500 first ( the 1200 had a new battery ) and when i took it out the box i was going to charge it but i said to myself " it won't hurt to try it " so on the bike it went. about six weeks later i thought i as having starter problems on the 1200 wing. checking the battery revealed that it was bad so another odyssey was ordered

Probably it was undercharged when installed, for a moment I thought odysseys were Bullet Proof  :nea: :Doh2:

Finally decided on an Odyssey PC680, received it today and it tested 12.90 volts out of the box.....I guess it's ready to install :builder: ,(just have to wait on the weather to clear up a bit).Hope it outlasts my previous yuasa ytx24-bs :beg:

my odyssey battery was not the problem, i had a lead acid battery in the 1200 wing that was a year old that had a problem ( two bad cells ) which is why i ordered another odyssey

Finally installed the Odyssey PC680 and very happy with its performance.Motor starts right up and I could say that it sounds fuller too (maybe due to a better spark  ).Height wise fitted pretty snugly using both upper & lower original plastic anti vibration pieces.Added foam to hold it back against the tank & also foam on both sides. It was a fast fix though.

width and legnth wise the odyssey is is smaller than a lead acid battery and will need a filler, i forgot about that
I knew size wise would be smaller, since I read measurements in case it wouldn't fit if to big. :read:
