If you got enough points to get in the Derby, it should be mandatory to race for the crown by running all three races, period.

The owner of Tonalist and I think there were a couple more did not let there horses run the First two races of Triple Crown, saving them for the Belmont, which means horses like California Chrome and other horses that ran all three races were not running as fresh horses like Tonalist the the others who did not run the first two races. PHew !!!!
