can you tell me what this part is?

Can anyone tell me what this holds and where it goes? came off a gl1100.
The one side is a well about 6 inches deep. The only holes are the two shown.

Not sure but it could be a pocket for one side of the fairing. Someone who knows for sure should be along soon.

found out it is a tool pocket( for the air gauge aqnd pouch) for the inside of the right saddlebag. It fits real nice in that little triangle by the signal inside the saddlebag.

I never seen one before. And now I own one.

here is a pic of it in the right saddlebag with some al foil so it would show up in the pic. Fits perfectly.


I have never seen one anywhere even on flea bay.

They told me it was for the air gauge and pouch that originally came with the NEW bikeoff the showroom.
