Hey friends, My factory cassette player that is built into the fairing is jumping all over the place when I hit a bump. Is there a way to secure that better and if I choose to remove, does anyone make covers for those holes?

I've never seen covers made to cover it after removing the cassette player but that left side was a pocket with a snap on cover on models ordered without a cassette player. Might be able to find one on Ebay or post a wanted in the For sale forum.

Hi, Thanks.....I'll be keeping it, just wanted a cover for when it's removed.

Well...my bud up north, Red Green, would suggest a healthy dose of duct tape.....for BOTH issues... :smilie_happy:
Is this a plug-in player, I guess?

There are two things that hold the unit in the fairing, in the front is the lock and in the rear is a tab about an inch tall and 1/2 inch wide that snaps into a slot on the rear edge of the unit, if this tab is broken off or not snaped in place all the way, the unit will bounce around, and if it bounces high and hard enough it could bend the plug pins. I was going to do away with mine, until I realized that with a tape adapter, I could run my mp3 player through it.
