chili fest 2013

i was disappionted because i canceled my ride to the thumb yesterday because of rain and today didn't start off much better. i was in the house washing and drying cloths most of the day when i saw my window of oppritunity. i got the van moved out the driveway then went in and got some riding gear on, i was warm because the riding pants i had on were waterproof and didn't let much airflow throgh even with the vents open. it wasn't looking good and i was expecting rain when i started out. i headed north on schafer, the streets were still wet. i took I-96 west to I-275 and I-275 south to m-14 going west. the expressway was dry but m-14 was still wet also. i made a right on main st. in plymouth, mi and headed downtown for the chili fest. there wern't many bikes there because of the weather

i parked the wing and walked around, still not as many bikes as last year. more than in this pic but not by much

i stopped and got some carmel corn and a cup of apple cider. i couldn't go own the street where they were making the chili though so i went and looked at the entertainment

looking up at the sky i noticed that the clouds had dropped so i got a pic of the norton before reversing course and going home. i got the wing back in the driveway and all covered up, parked the van in the drivewy and in less than five minutes it started sprinkeling again

it was and even though the ride to and from plymouth was short it was enjoyable
