Tipped over at a mail drop box..while running... clutch stopped moving with lever pull.. was able to get into mutual and got it started and rode it home shifting without clutch usage.. parked it and went on out of town trip... bled lines after getting back..but still no tension on the clutch movement..... feel to shifter, clutch lever side any thoughts suggestions.. on the hydraulic system

Why would laying it down(running or not) create a problem in the hydraulics for the clutch? Is the reservoir in a position that would allow it to get air in it like that? Only asking 'cause I don't know....inquiring minds want to know.... :nea: :read:

Pull the clutch lever to the handle and tie it there for several hours or better overnight. See if the air bleeds back up to the reservoir. It often works with the brakes. Then see if it works.

The tip over got air in the MC. Pump your lever, then loosen the banjo fitting to the line at the end of the MC, bleed from this point until you get clutch action again. If you look carefully you will see the MC angles upward, that creates a big spot for air to collect in that fitting, and no way is it possible for that air to be released by using the bleeder on the slave.
