Cut the old ones off. Soak the new ones in hot water for a few minutes, or use a heat gun, to soften them up. Then slip them over the "nub" on the bolt. They're usually a pretty tight fit, but heating them up helps. Make SURE the washer is on the end of the bolt first! :yes:
 
I cut the old rubber off. As suggested, I used a heat gun to make the new rubber more elastic. Pushed the new rubber on with a socket that fit the rubber. Heated and pushed right on.

Glad it worked for ya. I should have also mentioned a little lubricant would help, too... :yes:
