Before you bleed yourself to death, there is a trick you need to try. Remove the bolts from the calipers and tilt it up so that the bleeder screw is straight up (air gets trapped) and try bleeding it now. After two or three pumps and a topped off master, they should bleed out the air and get a tight handle.
After thinking on it last night I came up with a similar plan. To completely remove the calipers . Wedge the pistons in place and bleed them as high as the lines will allow with the bleeder straight up. I was too busy squeezing and bleeding yesterday to actually apply any cognitive thought I guess.

I accidently cut my wrist edge (back of thumb area) Short after the last post. It's healing well and after I replace the hot water heater that just died I'll get back out there after those brakes. I'm getting really tired of caging it on nice days.

Finally got back to the bike. I'm proud to report I now have lots of front brake. Just returned from a short ride and the bike is bottoming. I can't find the filler valve for the rear shocks. Is it normal to have some rattling starting out? Clutch action seems fine. Any way she's on the road finally and now Christened Bella. Wifeys choice. :yahoo: :thanks:
