This Emgo filter came in the carb kit from Randakk when I got it years ago.
I knew about the glue letting loose in these but forgot about changing it.
Some crap got in my $120 fuel pump and stuck in the check valve which meant it wouldn't pump anymore.

I opened up the filter and like posted many times on the forums, this is what I found:

The filter cartridge was loose inside it:

I opened up the pump and cleaned it but putting it back together is pretty tricky so I imagine this pump is done

I went and put on one of the see through filters.

Are you using the washing machine as a workbench again Dan?
Yep, it's got that nice lip all the way around the lid to keep stuff from rolling away :smilie_happy:

I seem to recall that the Randakk kit has been changed to not include the Emgo filter anymore. I use OEM and have not had any issues yet!
