Exhaust headers on 1100...oem or aftermarkets...??

The indentation is in the pipe itself, just the Gateway motorsports park shaped hole is in the chrome cover.

A standard set of GL1100 pipes do not come apart between the header and the silencer, they are 2 one piece pipes connected by a balance tube.

They can come apart though, I've heard of a lot of people using Harley Davidson silencers.

Ahhh.. OK... So one piece ech side... Better Check my parts manual... Probably explain the post that they had been cut then... Cheers for that.

just went and checked my parts manual..yup..1 piece...dunno how i missed it. I think as my 76 1000 was all separate i probably thought the same for 1100...
