Ok got hard bags on with help from you guys. Now looking into adding a fairing. Can I do it ? What do I need. Besides the fairing......
Thanks

So your bike is an 83 naked bike with after market or factory bags? You could get a clear screen or a vetter or Honda made some early wing fairings that mounted like a vetter. I don't think you could convert your naked bike into a 83 interstate or aspencade. It would be better to buy one.

Why not?

All you need to do is find all the parts and all the mounting hardware and then bob's your uncle. You will have a Hondaline fairing on your naked wing.

Getting fairing is pretty easy. You might have to special order the wire to connect it from the bike though. I haven't seen many that offered that.

They actually install fairly easily. There's a bracket that attaches to the frame, a small wiring harness that hooks into the original wiring (Hondaline is plug-n-play, Vetter needs some splicing, but not too bad), and the counterweight and wiring housing for Hondaline. The Hondaline also has the 2 lower covers/louvers and brackets. I've seen it all on eBay at one time or another.

Megadeath, the best you could hope for is to find someone over on NGWClub stipping an Interstate to a Naked and get everything all at a one stop pricing bargain. That happens every once in a while.
