my 80 interstate has a hondaline fairing with small cracks what product can be used to make repairs?
also where can i get correct gold pin stripping for the bike. one other item is the false tank, prior owner had mouted a side car and in doing so had cut a piece out of the right side for mount rod any suggestions thanks for any help

Abs cement is your friend... it can be forced into the cracks and it will cure into abs and seal up the cracks.. remove your facing so you can move around the fairing with out interference.. push on the cracks to open them.. use artist brush and craft sticks tho apply the abs to the openings.. then release pressure.. wipe visible ooze off with rag... when reinstalling after a day to cure.. start all bolts.. then tighten then down .. this is to relieve torque stress on the fairing... the false tank can be repaired with same stuff.. May want to use some patch cloth or plastic screen on the back side to support the repair... the false tank sides are abs also..

The stripes can be had from a good hobby shop. I redid my gl1100 with a roll of stripes that exactly matched the original. Cost me all of $4.00.
