ok here's the thing i have a oil leak i believe is coming from the final drive gear plate gasket. located on right side of engine beneath and to the left of the fuel pump. i need the gasket for it and bike bandit and cheap cycles don't have it they show discontinued. i do need on any suggestions. second thing is the mrs. says get a third bike and i found a 86 aspencade sei in dallas for 3700 dollars 34k and it looks good so was wondering what yal'll think. will have to sell my 77 trans am but it has been up on jack stands for about 5 yrs and more than likely won't work on it as i don't really have the time to fool with it. :help:

I'd get some gasket material and make a gasket to fix the oil leak. Get the most I could from the transam and get another nice oldwing. Just my $.02.

Very unusual for that cover gasket to leak unless it's been taken off.
Remove and clean well of all old oil and smear a thin coat of oil resistant silicone then reinstall.
