After two months of hard work, the rebuild is complete. :yahoo:
Can't wait to ride her in anger.

Great looking bike! What did it look like when you started? I don't remember seeing a lot of them back in the day. Was it tough to find parts? Anyhow, exceelent job, I love to see those old 2stroke enduro bikes.

Oh yes, The before pic.

Actually a lot of parts are still available from Yamaha including engine internals.
Of course non-generic ones (like gas cap) are discontinued.
They are on eBay but even used ones are priced high. And NOS parts are ridiculously expensive.

My son likes lime green.
I will look for vintage KX or KDX when he out grows his Z50R.
