float bowls

i'm going to look at a nakkid '83 wing and the owner said it had a cracked float bowl, is there any difference between the float bowls of earlier 1100 wing carbs and the '83

idont think so ...ive got both racks and they look the same ......but i never tried to see if one fits the other though....83 standard sounds neat ...but id look at it closely....good luck.....iknow i realy like my 82 standard....

82-83 carb racks are the same with screw in jets 80-81 carbs have pressed in jets ....i think everything else is the same.....

Depending on where it's cracked you may be able to repair it without too much trouble and this isn't a highly stressed part-
