Hello all.. I'm in a bit of a jam here now. I ordered a front master cylinder brake switch for a 1978 GL1000. PART NUMBER..45530-410-305 This is for a 78 gl but my master is a little bit different.. The switch I need mounts into the master with the handle it self slide action. Dose anybody know what part number I need..? :

How would I find out what model bike I have to narrow down my search for the master rebuild kit front.. Cause the shaft inside is smaller in diamater I was thinking of taking apart and old rear just to see if the plunger parts are the same dia.. Other than this I'm at a loss other than replacing the whole dam thing with a new one..

google the part number of the master cylinder or post it and i will. It should get a hit on the year and model it's from. I'm using a master off a yami on my KZ. Might be the same deal for you.
