I have been looking around and think when I get the Triwing Trike kit mounted to the back of my 1981 GL1100 it would be nice to have a set of these on the outfit. Are there any issues with them and is there one brand better than another? They are quite a lot of money new and I would hate to waste my cash on a worthless product. Or has anyone made their own and if so How? And any pics? Thanks John

Personally, floorboards are the best thing since sliced bread. On a trike, I would think they would be even better. I have a set of BMGS on the 1100 and MC Enterprises on the 1200. I like the MC Enterprise better just because of the way they look.

I took the floorboards off my '83 to make more room for my feet on the ground. I think they are marklands. I'll sell them cheap If you don't want to spring for new ones. I'll take a pic so you can see their condition.

Installing front floorboards also changes the shifter, whether it takes a fork style that fits directly over the factory shifter, or ones like my Markland, that uses a system of clevis pivots. I like mine just fine, but some folks don't like floorboards at all. I couldn't stand to make long rides with just foot pegs....my tootsies would go to sleep on me. :lazy:
Here's a pic of the Markland set-up mine has.

I'll try to remember to take pics tonight. These use the fork that actuates the original shifter. Worked good when I remembered which bike I was shifting.

Sorry it took so long...here's the pics.
They have a lot of surface rust and the chrome is flaking off one floorboard. I guess you could try them out as is and sandblast for powdercoat later.

Let me know if you want them and what they're worth to you. keep in mind they are heavy so shipping is significant.
passenger parts also included, or not to save weight.

Well I think I can make them work. I would buy the entire set front and rear do you have any Idea how much to ship? And I have no Idea what they are worth. I have found new starting at 140.00

How's twenty bucks sound? plus shipping, and the time it takes me to pack em up and ship 'em out. Where are they going? oops, just saw Jamestown North Dakota. I drove through ND one summer with a little camper in tow. Couldn't believe it took more than a day to pass through!
