Does anyone know why mother honda put the big ding on the drive shaft side on the swing arm? Starting to try to get my DUCKs in a row, before I start the full 3 wheel conversion! I am getting to old to hold that puppy up, probably only have about 20% of strength of what I had 15 years ago, anyway I was just curious about it, I want to cut it out so my shaft will go thru without without any problems!! It could be for tire clearance.. there are differences in tires when inflated and thus may allow for heat expansion as the tire runs...
yes 80-81 swingarms and even the drive shaft are different than the 82-83 yrs ....no big problem really ... I wouldn't think ...as joep said sometimes the tires fit ..that are suppose to ... seems tire qualiy is very bad in these tire sizes to say the least and people have to make clearance for them ...if it not making noise it sure its fine
