- Former '82 GL1100 "The Slug"
As our children are growing up, they are moving out all over the country which makes getting together for Christmas harder and harder. Our middle daughter (who at 16 years old significantly helped in the complete rebuild and restoration of my '82 Wing) has moved to Florida since going to school there starting back in 2009. We do not get to see her much and this year we decided to see our oldest daughter and her family in Virginia during Thanksgiving and then headed down to Florida to spend Christmas with our middle daughter. We had a great time!
As some of you may know, she is in an original Indie Rock band that writes and performs all of their own music when she is not leading worship for children's ministry at her job. Since they are in Florida, there is little chance of us getting to a live show anytime soon.
Well, as a surprise Christmas gift, the band (The Fetter Moment) came over to the apartment and gave us a private acoustic mini - concert right in her living room! This is an as-yet unreleased song, but here is a sample!
