Hi, Just joining the forum. Have been riding for a bit over 40 years, had both a '75 and an '83 Goldwings in the past, both plain jane models. I enjoyed them both and am looking at getting one of them again. My VStrom will be going up for sale and while I will miss it, I think the wing will easily take its place.
Will enjoy reading postings in this forum.
Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

Welcome to the CGW Forums, Tom!!! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

Thanks all for the welcomes. I hope to take a look at a '76 next week and maybe also a '75...then I have to figure out whether I really want an '83 that I looked at a couple of weeks ago... I really like the stripped wings. The early 1000's seem almost like smaller machines compared to the bikes that are being marketed today - although when the wing first came out, it sure seemed huge to me then.
I'll keep you all posted on what I end up with.
Tom
