While Mama & I were out "antiquing" this weekend, I found a really nice GL1000 Factory Service Manual...for $11! Don't need it, but figured it wouldn't hurt to have one, if for nothing other than my own curiosity. There was also a new GL1800 factory manual there, but it was a bit more 'spensive($50), so I left it right where it was. The pics in this one are crystal clear, compared to the pics in a Clymer/Haynes manual, or even the ones here in the gallery.
I think this was the first time I had ever seen any Goldwing related stuff on our weekend jaunts. :mrgreen:
Oh yeah...inside this manual was a receipt from a former local Honda dealer for a rear tire, and installation. '75 model bike, with 8000 miles....and it's dated '76. Tire was $40, installation was $9.... :shock:
