Heard some good feedback on these new style H4`s..question is how much room there is for the cooling fan that sits behind them when mounted in a hondaline faring..I have a link to an example of what i`m talking about but they come in a few different wattages, some 30 some 40, some with a fan some with a heat sink only, was also wondering if the fan makes a whine but I would think the engine would overpower anything a little fan would produce.
Thoughts?

If you try it let us know how it does. It looks like fitment won't be a problem. My question is just how bright is it? The english translation used in the ad seems awkward at best.

The LED headlight I have seems similar in size, mine has a heatsink and fan.
The fan does make a slight whine that can be heard when the bike isn't running but it's barely noticeable.
I had modded the fairing depth for a HID bulb but I think the LED would have fit without any fairing depth mod but I'd have to have a fresh look at it.

Beware that sale though. I have tried other China LED headlight bulbs which turned out to be throw away junk but ya never know.

The one I have I bought at the Vegas bike event, I made a thread about it.
Paid $80 for it I believe.

13.35 amp current would be my main concern. I am assuming that it is a typo and should be 3.35 amps. Here are the ones that I have been using Jeff and the fan isn't very noisy but you do need mounting behind and I had to reshape the rubber boots/seal.

They are only 12/18w (30w?) 2000lum but are really bright and equivalent to my 35w HID. I haven't been looking at others but it looks like the intensity has improved again with some of the new designs. I will try and test the actual current draw today if I get the chance ( says .35 amp :head bang: )

Yea, not sure I would buy the one I linked to Tony but there are a bunch of similar like yours with the same large heat sink on them and I do not want to cut anything to make them fit, never had my headlight out before so not sure how much room...thanks for the link and giving me your opinion on yours.

I am tempted by some of the newer ones that have split the rear heat sink into 2 items but that may create install issues as well. With all these Chinese items I just try them and see how well they actually work. The LED that I linked to appears the same as the one that Dan bought in Vegas. Even the HIDs that I like can be an issue to fit if they are designed poorly and really bulky or too long.

This looks similar to the one I used on CL125A (6V electrics).
It is really bright although it flickers at idling rpm.

I bought two more but haven't installed on my Oldwing yet.
