Good Morning. My name is Eddie. I'm am married to my lovely wife Janet and we have two wonderful children. Our daughter Anna is married and gave us our first grandson, Caden. Our son Kyle is married and he gave us second grandson, Noah, and will have another grandson here in October.

I'm currently riding a 1986 Honda GL1200A. Probably the "nicest" bike I have ever owned. Right now its in a million pieces under the carport. A few weeks ago, feels like a year, the stator went out on my wife and me at the first red light in Rome, GA. As you all know you have to remove the motor and crack the back case to replace the stator. I have also decided to clean the carbs and do some other things that I have been putting off. Hopefully to have her back on the road in a couple of weeks.

Thanks to all of the forums who have allowed me to do most all of the work myself and saving a bunch of dollars in the process. Looking forward to getting back on the road again.

Welcome to the forum ,
Sorry to hear about the 1200`s condition. It wasn't long ago I had my 1100 in that condition..It seems like a daunting job but after all its just a bunch of nuts, bolts and assembly. I think it took more time researching, finding and ordering parts.
Hope it all goes well for ya.
