Thanks for the add.
Roaming around the forum I found that most of you are in the US. But knowledge got noe borders I guess so I decided to join
I have a 86 GL1200i and it has been sitting for some years. Not because I didn't want to ride but I turned into a workaholic.
Since life isn't all about work I finally decided to pull it out of the garage last summer. It has been driven in all kinds of weather and even in the winter so time has set its mark. So since the 1200 now has turned into a little TLC project we bought a 2003 CSC trike to be operational.
My wife never dared to ride any of my bikes so she said no when I asked her to take the 1800 for a spin. I thought it was a shame so I persuaded her to try. Now I guess I just have to fix the 1200 fast if I want to ride a Goldwing at all this year.
Then again it is nice to have a common hobby but I declined being her passenger. If you have ridden motorcycles for 35 years you don't wanna be demoted to a passenger :ahem:
Well, here is my classic Goldwing.
.... and a picture of the one I am "denied" riding :headscratch: But happy wife , happy life.
It will be a classic some day too I guess.
