Hello:
I just joined after buying a 1977 GL1000 project.
It's not bad, but been sitting outside for 2 years.
Initial shine up is going well with some pleasant mechanical surprises--though it's shorted out.
The plan is to try to see if it runs then pull carbs and so some more thorough diagnostics.
Not in a real hurry to get it on the road as I also have the baby brother 1982 SilverWing GL500.
So for now, I'm gently tinkering and learning.
