Bought a mint condition 1999 gl1500, thing is perfect, except for one thing. When I went to put my feet on the foot pegs, I had to uncomfortably bend my knees and thighs to get my feet on. I've had other bikes but never had a issue with that, is that how these are, or can something be adjusted?

That's a nice ride! 😍 I had a similar issue when I got my 1500. Wasn't happy with the leg positioning, even tho it was MUCH better than my 1100. I went with floorboards & heel/toe shifter, as well as highway boards, which yours has already, I see. I also noticed that I sit much lower on the 1500 than the 1100, and it felt better with my feet down, in traffic. It's a shame the seat is not adjustable on the 1500, as that might help some, too. Whatever you do, enjoy it! 😃
