I enjoy checking stuff on the bike just because...tonight I discovered something I can't believe I haven't thought of yet I guess cause I'm stupid or something ha ha..Well, I made myself a leather pouch to carry my tools in and I keep it in the saddlebag, I usually put the tools on the seat and taking each tool out but is kinda a pain but something happened tonight that made me think of another way,,,If you lay down the lid cover from the saddlebag on the top of the seat you can dump your tools in it..Wow cool, it was a snap to find everything right there on the seat, I checked my spark plugs and had the tools right back in its pouch in a snap..I thought I would post this because I have not read of this anywhere yet...

My Vetter lids don't come off so easily but they do fold down flat making a decent area to lay out tools when needed. I'm not usually that organized or picky.

Wow! Now you got me daydreaming about how to make a tool holder right in the lid itself. Personally, I would need individual place holders for each tool. Maybe even have a cover that fits over the tools when put away? Of course this means getting around to tethering these lids on the Honda bags. (which I should have already done anyways) :thanks:

I wonder why Honda hasn't already done this?
