Have a 1982 Aspencade no horns when I got it but had a buddy inspect it to get the tags Now I want to get some noise makers working. Ive been all around the front end of this thing with doing the timing belts and then the water pump I cant find the plug the horns would plug into. The horns unplug where is that plug tie wrap to . Anybody ???

Your '82 should be about the same as my '83.

It's a 2-wire mini-connector - easy to get to with the shelter removed.

According to the '82 Aspencade schematic, the harness wires into the mini-connector are light green and white/green, while the wires from the connector to the horns are both black.

The white/green is 12 volts from the fuse box, and the light green goes to the horn switch, and is grounded when pressed.

Hope you get 'em blaring!

Thanks Steve That helps . Been looking for the two wire connector , just figured it would be in front of the radiator. So the wires on the set of horns go all the way to that you have pointed out on that pic ??

Yes, on my '83 Interstate they do, your '82 Aspy should be similar. The schematic shows a connector between the horn wires and the main harness, so unless someone eliminated it and made a direct connection, it should be there.

Just took the false tank off and surprise NO PLUG at all I dont even see any cut wire Family starting to show up so maybe after santa's done I'll get back out there and try to see what's the deal

No still no horns kinda put that on the back burnner for now. Tried to get a set off ebay but somebody want the chrome ones more than me.
