I'm sittin at a light on the way home from werk, and this feller pulls pulls up next to me on one of these things, and starts askin about the Turd. I notice he's on this Hyosung. Same bike as this one, same color and all.

Never seen one, or even heard of them. Not too bad looking from the front, but the rear needs some design work, imho. He said brand new(2008), it was only $4000! Hmmm. He said it rides great, but he missed having a backrest, as he used to have on a previous Vulcan. Said it would run 100-120 mph all day if he wanted, but he just liked cruizin.
Anyone else ever heard of them?

Yep heard of them. I probably would have bought one if there were a dealership near. I only knew one guy who had one but he was pretty happy with it.

Seen a lot of Chinese motor cycles over the years at dealer expos. Look great, not much size in displacement, :nea: have bad reputation's, :whistling: with a lot dissatisfaction among buyer's.

Over here in the UK we get a lot of these Chinese/Korean bikes. My son had one, the engine was toast in less than 30000 Miles. load of rubbish. But saying that over here they are mostly smaller engined bikes, I don't think I have seen one above 125cc. That one looks quite nice.

30000 miles on small engine is a lot.
My two Chinese engines are working fine so far but only a few thousand miles on them.
They are copies of Honda horizontal engines (as in Super Cub etc.) so hopefully they will be fine in my life time.

hyosung were copies of a suzuki 650 90degree v twin motor ...which was great bike and powerful ...so id say there probably a great deal and a good bike ..but i know nothing here in actuality

Plenty on the road here in Queensland mainly their sportsbikes. Seem to be good value for money just not my cup of tea. But then I used to hate Hyundais and now I often reconmend them to other people (( I still love my flat 4 Subarus( trying to talk Ruth into a new CVT Diesel Forester)).
