It comes out easy enough BUT how do I then air up the shocks in the future with the compressor out? Only a useless thin air hose without a schrader air inlet valve remains in the false tank. Has anyone come up with an effective solution?

The stock air compressor is heavy and rebuilding it seems like a waste of time & money. I travel with a small, cheap, lightweight, very effective yellow plastic air compressor with a built in air gauge from harbor freight.

I don't know the actual size of the air hose but you should be able to get compression fittings that would allow you to come up with a Schrader valve adaption that would allow you to connect your yellow compressor.

I have not seen how the compressor hooks up, but it appears from the parts fiche you can add air just like on my standard through the air valve that is behind the rear master cylinder.
