My first, third and fourth bikes were CB750F Super Sports. Now looking at this I'm tempted 🤔 but doubt I have the skill and funds to go that far. From what I've seen best up or neglected GL1500s can be had pretty cheap.
Someone talk sense to me 😉

When I was a dealer tech I worked on a Valkyrie with the same style six individual pipe exhaust. Man did that thing sound like a beast when ripped.

I Google searched hp and torque for the full dresser and Valkyrie 1500s, they're practically the same. I'm going to see if that GL1500 sitting on a flatbed trailer full of junk is still where I saw it last year.

The bike on a trailer is gone. I made a stop at the local metal recycling yard where I've seen bikes going to the crusher, the manager was pretty helpful and let me look around. On top of a pile I found a GL1100 with fairing but the frame was bent and what looked like a late 70's-early 80's CB750K in bad shape. I'll be stopping by every Wednesday to see what shows up.

The sensible thing to do would be to have a little flyscreen on that to deflect stuff that might fall in the open stacks! You might be further ahead to find a valk to use. Then you get the six carbs with it.
