Maybe you can answer a question for me...Can solar panels leak?. I assume these panels are for producing electricity, and I'm unaware of a solar/electric panel that contains liquid of any kind. Can you point me in the right direction to research this question?

Isn't that just down the road from Scotty's Castle?

Scotty's castle is in Death Valley (Ca), 135 miles northwest from Las Vegas. Area 51 is in Nevada, 150 miles north of Las Vegas. Cross country, it is about forty? miles from Scotty's Castle to Beatty, Nv, the closest you are going to get to Groom Lake without running into inquisitive security forces.

The panels are a sandwich w/o a covered edge. I saw one that was slightly askew and noticed there is a 1/2" seal between the panels that keep the stuff inside. Couldn't take a pic though because you just don't want to be seen by the company people standing still.

My back is doing fine, I don't lift panels anymore. I'm now a full time driller working with the hardware that secures the panels to the rack. :rocks:

I do drive by Beatty, it's on my right as I pass by. There is a checkpoint there that I can see just 1/4 mile off 95 North, that seems to be the only way in. There is tourist map at the gas station in Indian Springs, I'll look for the Castle on that.
