Greetings - I am new to the site and have joined in the hopes of getting advice (and help) with a 78 GL1000 project I recently acquired. The previous owner was trying to "make it his own" and cut up the wiring harness pretty bad, so I am in the process of trying to sort that out so I can hear it run (fortunately I don't have a lot of money tied up in the project as of yet). Looking forward to getting to know you folks better...

Greetings from the Sunshine State.

Live long and prosper. God bless you.

Welcome from Idaho! As it's been said, there's a ton of useful information here. I've been on other forums, but the folks here are beyond helpful, so don't be afraid to ask questions!

I just threw a wire harness away from my '77. Now that i've broken your heart, allow me to offer help finding one, or if you are feeling bold, you could make your own.
That's why I tossed my crusty one away.
Welcome to CGW, home to the best tinkerers on the internet. You are in good hands!!
