if a politician running for office would promise to do absolutely nothing official while in office he'd have my vote.

The mear mention of them in the title of this thread irked me.
I was a bit surprised but not at all "irked". Politics is with us always and politician are either trying to get elected or re elected pretty much always. I try to keep up with it as much as I can but there's a lot more of them than I care to know.

Politics can be fascinating, and also very frustrating. I realized long ago that unless I was there, saw it and heard it in person, that it has probably been exaggerated, altered, or flat out made up. I don't believe any of the political talk show hosts. Rush and those like him, on both sides of the aisle, have done more to divide this country than any president. It's really sad.

This ad made my day!
