Is this an authentic teardrop camper

Just wondering, wooden wheels?..I didn't think the style was around in the 1920`s..Homemade? Cobbled together?
I don't think a Goldwing would pull it.

I think all the teardrop campers were home made but I'm not certain there. We have one or two members here with one that can say for sure. Price is pretty high for a partly stripped and rotting camper. Goldwing might be able to pull it but it'd play hell trying to stop it.

Agreed, looks awfully heavy to me as well :yes:
I think you could make a lighter one using alloy composite panels on a harbour freight trailer for the same or less money :builder:

Thats what I figured, they must have has a model A axle around sometime in the 50-60`s and thought "lets make something out of it".

Most of the pics I could find of teardrop campers from that period have regular rims with moon hubcaps.
