Old Girlfriend wouldn't start this morning, and I almost killed the battery trying. I've been noticing a drop in performance the last few weeks and since George and just synced the carbs a couple months ago, I firgured her age/mileage was just catching up to her. After work I went out to change the plugs and try to start her, figuring the battery had had enough time to rest. This is what I found right out of the gate. There are two black spots on either side of the plug socket. At the top! The white doesn't rub off either.

I figure I pulled this off the plug a bit wrapping the wires before a spray wash. I hope it's good for another 60K. As for that lost performance...it's back in a big way. Can you see the tears?

Looks like your due for new plug boots and wires but if it's running fine now save the cash for a new 11" CGW patch. :hihihi:
