There is an old grouchy man across town that has a trike sitting in his yard, I stopped by there last year and asked about it...and i got that special look from him... :nea: . The story was..I ride that all the time. So in the last year, i have drove by there just to look....it's never been moved. So i'll stop by again when i get a chance...I'll probably get his feathers up this time... :whip: ..lol.

Old grouch? Go over and offer him $10 bucks and tell him he's too old to ride. Then be nice to him and negotiate. Grouchy old guys like starting angry.

Thanks, I'm medically challenged right now but hoping to get back up to speed this year, got two other 1200's for parts if I can just find the rolling chassis or one very reasonable, have to watch my funds with everything medical going on, not confident riding on two wheels right now and I got several events I need to be at. Appreciate all the help. Thanks again.

If money is tight have you thought about a used Insta-trike or Voyager unit? You can sometimes get one that came off a Goldwing.

Yes, I located a Voyager Kit trike lady and it looks great, almost new, within about 250 miles of me for a real good price of a grand, all I have to do is buy a new belly mount bracket. I'm trying to get rid of the problem of getting to the rear wheel and the Voyager compounds the problem but it is my last option. Thanks for the tip !!

hmmmmmm ...you know mike that reverse trike was quite the deal that was here for awhile ....it sure was the least weight option ...though it dont cure rear wheel access either ....volks wagon front end was the hardware needed.... i am still looking to do one of these myself ...i was quite impressed with the set up .....my deal is ..i thought that using really like skinny motorcycle front tires and wheels from like 1000 oldwings would be the perfect wheels for the front ... two should handle front end fine .. and streering torque ought not to be to bad .... instead of wide fat tires to have to torque around with your arms

Yeah joe I liked the reverse trike/vw set up also, it looked to be a neat set up, did you happen to learn where the bodywork came from on that rig or was it hand built ?

it was all hand built .. rather good .. a bit over bulky .. but nice ...id like to have one more lit looking and godd feel in the bars .. look entirely possible to have a really nice set up ....

They've come out with the new reverse trike "leaner" front ends, the trike leans like a two wheel bike, but very expensive. I could get one installed for 10 grand, out of my league until my rich uncle passes on !! :whistling: :moped: :smilie_happy:
