That's cool William.

I have yet to do an Iron butt.
well I've done two of them now, I did the lower great lakes run yesterday. we started at 6am Friday and I finished just after 2am today
thanks for the congrats guys, I'm done with IBA runs this year but I'm hoping there is a group ride for lake Michigan or lake Huron next year, those are the certs I want and that will give me certs for all of the great lakes

Does the 12+ hours on slabs Kawi to joes count?

Ouch.
well dan one guy did both IBA's on a burgman 400 and one guy did yesterdays IBA ride on a klr 650 so you are going to have to put a little more riding time in on slabs kz750

I doubt anyone here doubted you. I know I couldn't do one even on my 1500.
you just have to be determined to get back to your starting place or destination if the place you finish at isn't the place you started at

Congrats, I just did a SS1000 from Olympia Wa to Missoula Mt and back. It is a blast. Maybe some day I will get out to the great lakes and do one of those runs also.
Again, congrats, it is quite a ride and something to be proud of. I sure did learn a lot about long distance riding both before (studying up), during and after. I am looking forward to more, hope you are too.

congrats to you oldmopars, I was wondering who else on the board had done an IBA ride
if you make it out this way for a lake superior ride bring waterproof and heated gear, it was mid june and the temps were in the low 50's during the day
