This is the kind of weather our parents had to walk to skool in...barefoot....uphill....both ways....lol

42 miles... In thirteen feet of snow, carrying our older siblings on our backs... in JULY.

At least, until the oldest was able to drive, then Dad let us all ride together to school on the family Brontosaurus. it was big, and slow, but comfortable, and that was great 'till the neighborhood bully came to school on a T-Rex... By the time school was out, the parking lot was nothing more than a lake of blood and guts....

We had a family pet... Saber Tooth Tiger... only fed him about every three weeks... the youngest child... good thing we had a big family...
