I just rented the new Star Wars movie. The Force Awakens. After all the hype and hoopla when it was released I was really disappointed. A disjointed story leading up to finding Luke again and then it ends??? WTF! :rant:
And I really enjoy science fiction including lame stuff like Starship Troopers. And those are lame!

I can say I have never seen star wars or any of the trilogy but the ending sounds like they set it up for another movie...I get so irritated at ? endings I refuse to see any part 2`s.

I have given up going to the movies. My brother & I have over 2600 books in our library and I can always find one I had forgotten to read.
"Starship Troopers" is one of the 43 Heinlein books we kept. Some of his stuff is "pot boilers'; others are great.

I thought "The Martian" was good, both the book and movie. Haven't seen the new Star Wars yet. I enjoyed the first 2, back in '77 and '80.
