I need a speedometer for my 98 valk in MPH. The one that is on the bike is in kilometers.
Just practice math, 5/8s is the conversion. 50mph = 80kph. To get kph multiply mph by 1.6. :hihihi:

Yours looks cable driven and the 99`s look electronic, is that the case?..see 99 models one with 50K and one with 90K on ebay but have an electronic odometer, $90 and $70 dollars respectively.
Maybe new silkscreen can be put on your cheaper or as cheap as buying another.

Yes I have Dan. was hoping someone had one laying around. I now have a lot of gl1100 parts just laying around. I want another 83 gl1100 so have not started to clean out my stash of parts yet.

Trying to do math on the bike gives me a headache so would like to have it just show up in front of me.

It is cable driven.

Wes I run my dash cam app and love the GPS speedo which is more accurate ( except when you are accelerating/decelerating) than most stock speedos and easier to read in my opinion.
Not only speed but it provides a compass heading as well so that you know how lost you are :smilie_happy:
P.S You can select MPH
