Been thinkin on what's involved to machine a head drive for the C5......and stud the cam....
Have to pull the cam and left head for the machinist........it's all adding up real fast.
Not just that but a custom housing needs to be made......

I have 2 rebuilt 1100 heads with 75-77 cams in them on the 1100 sitting in the garage.

Ok then.....

~O~ Man, we need a 1/4 mile stretch in an out of the way place :hihihi:

Should be able to mount the 1100 ignition housing in the same place as the 1000 housing.
Back side of the 2 housings are very different which would require a machined adaptor.
I'll go with the C5 housing to make my life a bunch simpler.

It is a shame that Joe's bike has become an adjective... :smilie_happy:

:headscratch: oh well cant be to bad  :Egyptian:

I wouldn't mind being "Hooched" myself! I'd have a lot more get-up-&-go!

Dan, I have a good set of 1200 FI heads with cams, and the right one is set up for the cam angle sensor. I wonder if the C5 could be adapted to it using the housing you have...
