Need 82 motor

Wish I had a spare motor. Shipping from here would be a bit much. 80-83 should be plug and play easy swaps. 1000's and 1200's might need slight modifications to run but will bolt in. Hang on to the old motor for parts.
 
Looking around on CL I see a fella in Dallas that wants way too much for one, He is the same guy I`ll bet that had it on Ebay and couldnt get 650 so if your in a hurry maybe you could talk him into a better price. Short of that I would look for a complete non running GL for a few hundred and pull the engine and sell the rest, may end up getting the engine for free. I would take a battery and tools/compression guage to check.
Something will come up near you eventually.

I think you are going to get lots of goodies from that one!! My guess is that is a Standard with the Vetter fairing and Honda bags added.

If you start to take things apart and want to sell anything, I would be greatly interested to find out if the original headlight brackets are behind the fairing and would PAY ( :yes: ) for the rubber seals at the top of the brackets!! :clapping:
