New 86 GL1200A owner

Hey all,
My name is Kalvin and I am a proud first time GW owner of an 1986 GL1200A. Picked it up with 26K, Grey Silver, for 3k. I joined some forums to learn more about the Technical side of these bikes. I look forward to chatting with you!

Thanks Joe! I have an issue. Could you point me in the right direction? Today, my right speaker cover flew off on the Highway. I had to turn around to get it. Luckily no damage to it during its flight. I found that the white plastic grommet clips are broken (what caused it to fall off). Where in this forum should I post to find parts or fixes for this?

Welcome from Southern California! Congrats on your first Wing - sounds like you got a nice one!

There is a "For Sale or Wanted" section you can use to ask for the parts. There is also a parts manual in the Gallery that should show the clips you need, if they are OEM. Good luck with it, and let's see some pics!
